Frequently Asked Questions

1.Getting started & browsers

We're launching soon on Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox, with Safari to follow.

All versions are coming soon — stay tuned!

Create a free account with just your e-mail address (no credit card required) and you instantly get 14 days of full Prime access.

Each e-mail address gets one free trial, even after the account is deleted.

If you buy Monthly or Annual during the trial, the trial days you have not used are kept and start after your subscription ends.

After the trial ends, you keep all free features and can subscribe whenever you want Prime again.

2.Features, Free & Prime

Free:

  • Batch Pin Services and My Favorites Lists
  • Mouse Control (wheel scrolling, drag reordering and auto-pin)
  • Service Aliases
  • Quick Search (press c or n)
  • Vim Mode (every command, including Fav. Bar Vim)
  • Identity Capsule (one-click role switching)
  • Dropdown menus for the 10 common services, free and fully editable

Prime has three features:

  • Fav. Bar Control (a multi-row favorites bar)
  • All Services Menus for every service
  • Settings Sync

The Facts page walks through every free feature; the demo videos arrive at launch. Every number is listed on the Limits page.

Yes, completely. Vim Mode has three parts, all free:

  • Page Vim: press v or m for letter hints on the page links.
  • Fav. Bar Vim: press vv or mm for a fuzzy search of the favorites bar.
  • Command Line: press : for commands (:h, :su, :r, :svc, :cs and so on).

Vim Mode is on by default; switch it off in the popup if you do not need it.

The dropdown menus of the common services are free and fully editable for everyone:

  • VPC
  • EC2
  • Aurora and RDS
  • S3
  • Elastic Container Service
  • Elastic Kubernetes Service
  • Elastic Container Registry
  • CloudWatch
  • CloudFormation

Every Prime plan — the 14-day trial and bonus days, Monthly, Annual and Lifetime — can load the menus of up to 50 other new services a day, to keep the service fast for everyone.

Menus you have already loaded stay available, and the count starts again at midnight in your time zone.

When Prime ends, the common menus remain.

The full table, including the daily menu requests, is on the Limits page.

CCN covers the vast majority of AWS services that can be favorited in the AWS Console, and the service catalog is updated online without waiting for an extension release.

We don't promise 100% coverage: a few services are excluded or only partially supported because AWS itself has retired or restricted them, for example:

  • AWS Proton's console has been shut down
  • legacy services such as Amazon Machine Learning, CloudSearch and SWF are closed to new customers
  • a few services (like AWS IoT FleetWise) stay searchable and pinnable but ship without a dropdown menu

If a service you need seems missing, send us feedback — data fixes roll out without an update.

3.Plans, payment & refunds

A one-time payment for all Prime features for the AWS Console when you buy, with updates and no renewal.

You can be signed in on up to 8 browsers at the same time. The Limits page lists this and every other number.

Payment opens in a new tab. When it completes, the tab closes and you return to the extension automatically.

The Subscription page shows "processing" until the payment is confirmed, usually within a few seconds, and then a confirmation notice and e-mail follow.

Absolutely. You can cancel your subscription at any time with no questions asked.

Your Prime access will continue until the end of your billing period.

Yes. Every payment can be refunded in full within 14 days, and Paddle, our merchant of record, processes the refund.

Details and how to ask are in Section 3 of the Refund Policy.

4.Account, data & privacy

Yes. All settings stay in your browser.

We only store the minimum information needed to run your account and subscription (see the Privacy Policy). We never store:

  • your AWS credentials
  • your console configuration
  • any cloud account data

Your account, settings and profile are deleted.

  • Transaction records are kept as required by law.
  • Your e-mail address is kept to prevent abuse.
  • Deleted data may remain in backups for up to 35 days before it is removed automatically.

If you have a subscription or a Lifetime plan, deleting the account does not refund the unused time; see section 6 of the Refund Policy. What we keep and for how long is in the Privacy Policy.

If you have uninstalled the extension, you can still delete your account in either of two ways:

  • (a) reinstall the extension, sign in and delete the account from the Account page; or
  • (b) e-mail privacy@console-navi.com from the address registered to the account (for example if you can no longer install the extension or sign in).

We verify that the request comes from the account owner and handle it manually. Access and export requests work the same way.

5.Offers & invitations

Yes: 20% off Lifetime for the first 100 buyers.

  • It works once.
  • It cannot be combined with other discounts.
  • It ends when the spots are gone.

See the Offers page for the rules.

Share your invite code from the extension.

  • When a friend signs up with it, you both get 7 days of Prime.
  • When they subscribe, you get 7 more.

Each 12-month period counted from your sign-up date rewards up to 8 friends; the count starts again in the next period.

Milestones count all your invitations and unlock once each:

  • 3 friends unlock a 14-day offer
  • 8 friends unlock a 20% discount on Lifetime

6.Troubleshooting

This is likely because the region you selected is an "Opt-in Region" that is disabled by default in your AWS account. AWS has some regions (like Hong Kong, Jakarta, Melbourne, Tel Aviv, etc.) that require manual activation.

To enable a region:

  • Go to AWS Console → click your account name (top right) → Account
  • Open AWS Regions, find the region and click "Enable"

It may take a few minutes to activate.
